Product Focus: Automotive Thermal Systems/Components

Responsibilities

• Assist team in CAD drawing and designing tasks, review and understand 2D drawings and 3D models
• Make corrections to the 2D drawings and 3D models as requested
• Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings in compliance with customer and internal specifications as well as general GD&T rules
• Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry, customer, and internal standards
• Work with other teams to obtain reference information for drawings
• Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
• Work with engineering and manufacturing team to investigate and resolve problems with existing designs
• Work closely with OEM and tier customers to exchange math data and design ideas
• Participate in engineering and manufacturing design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations
• Provide alternative design concepts to meet customer requirements
• Create and update database of design records for future reference purpose

Requirements

- BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Bachelor’s degree

- CATIA V5 experience (Min 3 years) : 3D modeling & 2D drawings

- Understanding of mechanical system, manufacturing, GD&T tolerance

- Preferred FEA(ANSYS) experience

- Good oral and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
