Seeking a motivated and creative professional who can take on the role of CAD Drafter. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and revising the company's design plans, ensuring the plans meet the current building code and produce safe, cost-effective buildings. The ideal candidate has experience using AutoCAD software. This is a mid-level position requiring strong communication skills, a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blueprints of large-scale construction projects such as bridges or buildings.
- Plan the best way to build the structure using a computer-aided drafting program.
- Determine the right kinds of materials needed for the structure.
- Be able to draw schematics for complicated structures like nuclear power plants and hydroelectric dams.
- Identify any issues with the structure that could cause problems in the future.
