CAD Designer Job at AUTOCAM MEDICAL DEVICES, LLC
- Dayshift (7a-5p).
- Handle clerical and modeling duties supporting the engineering team. Also helps other departments with clerical and modeling duties as time allows, this includes QC, purchasing, and others.
- Download Drawings, Scans and Prints for all product areas
- Completes required clerical reports for engineering
- Handles small changes in ballooning software or CAD to update
- Supporting engineering group by completing technical and clerical work such as entering parts data and changes in ERP system.
- Preparing DMR revisions and compiling DHR paperwork
- Maintaining customer files and networked engineering data.
- Developing documentation for launch of new products.
- Works with engineering team on open sales order priorities.
- Copies drawing packages and maintains a record of issued packages.
- Initiates ECRs with oversight from engineering.
- Provides the shop with drawings as requested.
- Generates reports as requested.
- Build DMR and assist with new product launch.
- Familiarity with operation of CNC equipment.
- Knowledge of CAD software and other design-aid technologies (Solidworks and Autocad).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Skills: Highly effective time organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and adjust to the needs and requests for assistance for all departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including advanced data functions in Excel.
- Effective data entry skills that provide for accurate and timely information.
- Excellent analytical skills: Ability to collect and analyze data and present findings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently use office equipment.
- Must be able to perform at a high level without immediate supervision.
- Quality oriented mindset.
