Beacon Mobility is seeking a Business Transformation Engineer to serve as a key resource to deliver value on strategic initiatives. The Business Transformation team empowers people across the organization to transform the world of high needs transportation. This role will drive results through the identification, and resolution, of business challenges by empowering people to solve the organization’s most complex problems.

Summary: Responsibilities will include business process analysis, gathering opportunities for improvement, and driving improvements. This key role functions as a liaison between Business Transformation and Operations, must have excellent listening and communications skills.

1. Lead the evaluation of business processes, and systems, to uncover areas of improvement using data

2. Deploy programs that drive operational efficiencies across the organization to achieve long-term strategic goals

3. Lead quantification of operational excellence cost savings using historical and predictive data

4. Drive continuous feedback loops cross-functionally to communicate best practices/lessons learned

5. Develop standardized processes and procedure to achieve consistency across the platform

6. Participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge

7. Actively coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to team members on how to apply data-driven problem solving

8. Collaborate with internal PMO teams to ensure effective deployment and adoption of strategic programs

9. Responsible for developing a clear understanding and support for organizational change management with senior leadership and throughout the organization

10. Conduct market research and customer interview to discover trends, best-practices, and metrics to leverage in future engagements

Qualifications/Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field; plus, six or > years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· 6+ years of experience in continuous improvement - exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability/willingness to learn

· Required experience:

o The ability to influence stakeholders

o Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams to drive project objectives, business requirements and implementation support

o Process oriented approach and strong ability to document business processes

o Advanced knowledge and experience with Lean Six Sigma

o A track record of following through on commitments

o A history of delivering and supporting successful projects

o Excellent leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills

o Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

o Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

· The following knowledge is not required, but is preferred:

o Experience in the transportation industry

o Experience using PowerBI

o Experience with SQL

o Experience with Azure Data Factory

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Comfortable performing duties in a collaborative environment. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required. Operates computer and standard office equipment, such as telephone and copier/printer.
