Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for a temporary Budget Management Analyst I/II. This Entry-level position supports our government customer in their performance management system and management studies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• ADMINISTRATION OF THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

• Implements the monitoring of policy priority areas.
• Reviews and improves the performance management system.
• Prepares briefing materials for senior staff review.
• Ensures recommendations are consistent with policies.
• Prepares recommendations for consideration by leadership team

B. MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS

• Participates in team efforts regarding complex management reviews, organization studies and statistical analyses.
• Participates on selected special projects.
• Provides recommendations to resolve management issues.
• Supports requests for data analysis, mapping and other requests as needed.
• Provides innovative solutions to agency and community issues.
• Supports analyst projects as identified by the Manager and Director.

• BUDGET DEVELOPMENT

• Evaluates performance data using statistical programs, Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS, and other programs when applicable.
• Provides recommendations for budgetary action based on performance data

• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

• Weekly reporting.
• Staff workgroups and ad hoc committees.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the class of work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least 1 years of Budget Management Analyst experience.
• Experience with performance management systems.
• Experience preparing recommendations.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in evaluating performance data using Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS, and other programs when applicable.

HOURS

• 2-3 days in the office and 1-2 days remote

• Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract
• Must successfully complete a Blue Sky and customer background screening
