Shift: 1st– 6:00AM-2:30PM, Monday – Friday + available overtime
Location: Faribault North – off Interstate 35

Summary of duties:

  • Identify unit options using bill of materials to complete required work content per unit.
  • Align, clamp and position work pieces using tools such as jigs, vices, etc. to comply with engineering drawings.
  • Clean work pieces to remove debris using brushes or grinders.
  • Apply heat, appropriate alloy and nitrogen to work pieces to effectively and efficiently produce assemblies.
  • Ensure proper setup and handling of tanks, torches, hoses and regulators to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Complete assembly of work content to support production standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawing to ensure quality standards are met by effectively identifying parts and assembling unit.
  • Ability to use production support tools effectively (VKS, AMS, etc.).
  • Prep coil for proper fit of return bends or headers.
  • Test coils for air leaks and repairs minor leaks and checks for tube imperfections (dents, etc.) per quality standards.
  • Perform required after test functions (coil drying, staging, etc.)
  • Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production.
  • Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.
  • Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.
  • Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate hand tools.
  • Ability to read and understand written English.
