Maesa is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as the Brand Manager, Marketing & Product Development for Anomaly. This role reports to the Director of Product Development and Marketing. Roles and responsibilities will expand to other areas based on candidate's skill level, performance and business need.
Pay Range: $90,000/yr - $110,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Core Responsibilities

  • Drive retailer relationship as main point person for all new product development and brand activities
  • Lead innovative pipeline by leveraging insights and analytics in support of brand's strategic direction, priorities and market share objectives. Oversee and drive all aspects of product development lifecycle
  • Reimagine traditional marketing efforts to create innovative and disruptive campaigns and programs
  • Identify ongoing growth opportunities within category
  • Oversee the development of social channels, branded site and Target.com
  • Develop social and influencer marketing plans in conjunction with cross functional team
  • Work closely with in-house design studio and Operations team on artwork process including routing and proofreading
  • Analyze business, competition and trends to identify product needs, gaps and opportunities
  • Prepare category sales reviews, and perform ad hoc analysis upon request
  • Full turnkey development from creative concept through market launch and activation. This includes fragrance & formula development (briefing fragrance houses and labs), creative concept development, artwork management, creative design brief and internal design process, market analysis
  • A key part of the role is to be trend savvy and track industry trends to identify white space opportunities suitable for each unique account. Continually analyze marketplace activity to stay on the pulse of new launches
  • This role works closely with the Sales team to manage client relations and the approval process; design studio and package development team on artwork process, including routing and proofreading; and with all internal cross-functional teams to manage and drive projects internally.

Job Requirements

  • Creative & Strategic thinker with strong project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, lean but growing organization with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional skills and the ability to work within a matrixed team both internally and externally
  • Must be passionate about all things beauty, collaborative and a team player! 3+ years' work experience in beauty category; other experience from personal care or other beauty categories a bonus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
