Bookkeeping Clerk I

Job Summary

The Bookkeeping Clerk I primary job is reconciliation of accounts and GLs as well as supporting the telephone operator answering the phone and getting customers to the proper person to assist with their needs. It is the responsibility of Bookkeeping Clerk I and all other BSF staff to have an extensive knowledge of all digital platforms, assist customers and sell to the customers.

In addition, but not limited to also aiding and backing up within the department as required and assisting in special projects.

Essential Duties

  • Assisting customers by phone
  • Deposit accounts and GL research for regulatory needs
  • Check adjustments
  • Adding new accounts to OPD monthly
  • Backup assistance to department
  • Reconcile in-house accounts monthly (BSF Gift Card, Fundraising, Tax deposit, Cash Advance)
  • Order supplies
  • Unposted transactions (transaction desk)
  • Print Reports/notices/distribution of notices
  • Payment decisions
  • In clearings
  • Fed Funds and Entries
  • Charge offs/Closing accounts to fees /Data contributions
  • Submission of coin and currency order
  • Credit line statements
  • Call report download
  • ATM daily balance backup to Bookkeeping Clerk II
  • Mail & Lock up

Pay: $30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
