Job Summary

We are a small tax accounting firm based in Woodland Hills looking for a part-time or full-time bookkeeper. We are willing to train if necessary. The position is for someone who likes variety and can handle a constant multitude of tasks, who can work independently, and wants to be involved in a small firm of friendly people where you can have a very positive impact. Although you will need to work in office to begin with, this is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Daily bookkeeping, Financial Reporting for various clients
  • Monthly client account reconciliations
  • Assisting in Annual W-2s and 1099s preparation
  • Research skills
  • Will need to cover receptionist position when receptionist is away

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping Experience Preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online Preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (etc. excel, word)
  • Knowledge of Lacerte software a plus.
  • Knowledge of Windows and ability to solve minor computer problems
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English communication.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organized
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent work ethics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow instructions as directed
  • Ability to multitask and flexibility in changing tasks with interruptions throughout workday
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
