Bookkeeper Job at Temple Sinai of Palm Beach County
We have an immediate Part-Time opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper. In this position, you will report to our Administrator and will be scheduled 20 hours per week to start. Actual hours will be between 20 and 30 hours per week.
The Bookkeeper serves as the main bookkeeper (process A/P, A/R, Payroll and generate assigned Financial Reports) and will assist in and around the office. Responsibilities will vary and will include a wide range of tasks: assisting congregants with their accounts, bookkeeping, answering phones, and general office tasks including filing.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, friendly, upbeat, and high energy team player with excellent computer skills. Accuracy, a high level of organizational skills, friendliness, and being a self-starter are absolute musts for this position.
Requirements:
- Proficient using QuickBooks
- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
- Able to learn specialized membership/accounting software
- Level 2 background check required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Proficient using QuickBooks (QBO preferred).
- Proficient computer skills, preferably on PC platforms.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Shul Cloud a huge plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Time management and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
