Sierra Chemicals is a privately-owned industrial cleaning organization. We offer industrial cleaning to help maximize the efficiency of natural gas processing facilities and compressor sites. We offer a range of services across the U.S.

This position is Work From Home with occasional onsite tasks as needed. Must live in or near the Lubbock, Texas area (35 miles or closer).

Qualifications:

· Proven bookkeeping experience

· Must be honest, tech-savvy, organized, and dependable

· Proficiency in Microsoft software

· Sage Accounting knowledge is preferred

· Self-starter, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills

· Strong knowledge of accounting

· High degree of accuracy and a knack for numbers

Responsibilities:

· Full understanding of Accounts Payable, vendor communication

· Journal entries

· Month end balancing

· Accounts receivable and collections on aging accounts receivable

· Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements

· Assisting with payroll processing and supporting Senior accountant as needed

· Monthly and annual financial statement preparation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
