SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm - hybrid option available, 3 days in office and 2 days remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversight of claims management for all lines of service including, facility and professional; claim creation, submission, edits, and rejections within in a timely manner.

Oversight and approval of insurance account receivable follow-up procedures; reconsiderations, appeals, and escalation to payer representatives.

Under the direction of the department manager, maintains/performs functions necessary to manage department personnel, including maintaining job descriptions, conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary action, and providing continued education while ensuring department activities are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Responsible for new employee selection, orientation and training and for maintaining adequate staffing levels in order for the department to maintain expected service levels. Ensures consistent application of all departmental and JMH policies.

Ensures staff are compliant with governing policies and procedures related to accounts receivable billing, HIPAA, and compliance.

Preparation and monitoring of accurate and timely financial, account receivable, and productivity reports.

Participates in continuous quality improvement of workflow and processes within JMH revenue cycle. Proactively works with others to improve organizational efficiency.

While performing these duties, maintain professional continuous communication and positive leadership behaviors which supports JMH mission and values.

Conducts all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and JMH policies and procedures including Blood and Body Substance Precautions.

Performs additional related duties as assigned by the Patient Account Manager and/or JMH Administration.
