Brown & Brown Risk Solutions, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Billing Specialist – Commercial Insurance to join the team remotely.
The Billing Specialist will provide support to insurance brokerage teams by overseeing billing and compliance associated with billing for client accounts. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work with brokers to bill policies in AMS360 in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Accounts Receivable and Payables to ensure payments to carriers are processed by tasking policy financial files in Image Right and following up to confirm payment.
- Communicate with account managers in a timely manner regarding outstanding items.
- Coordinate with account team to reconcile client accounts/billing issues and correct errors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting desired
- Working experience with AMS360 (or other Vertafore products) and/or Image Right preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to think critically, analyze, prioritize, take initiative, and problem solve
- Technical skills: accounting knowledge/concept, advanced level of Excel skills
- Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day
