Kenosha Community Health Center is looking for Full Time Bilingual Call Center Representatives.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Call Center Representative (CSR) is to provide exceptional patient care by creating a patient service experience that is phenomenal for each and every patient visit. The CSR works as a partner in the clinic together with the physician(s), clinical staff, other office staff and manager to provide a welcoming, caring and healing environment for patients. Where this position deals directly with patients and family members, the CSR is responsible to ensure that patients' needs are listened to, understood and resolved. By doing this, the CSR primarily completes the tasks of scheduling appointments, creating and maintaining a waitlist and performing various clerical duties in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Interact with all callers in a professional and courteous manner adhering to the Customer Service Policy Guidelines

2. Schedule and reschedule patient appointments according to the template over the phone.

3. Confirm all scheduled appointments per department protocol.

4. Verify insurance benefits prior to scheduling and confirming.

5. Ability to understand and implement a schedule templates.

6. Ability to direct all incoming calls to appropriate staff.

7. Create and maintain an accurate waitlist.

8. Maintain patient confidentiality and functions within the guidelines of HIPAA.

9. Verify and update patient demographic information.

10. Verify and update patient insurance information and selecting the correct plan for dental, medical and behavioral health.

11. Understand and inform patients of balances they owe in a professional manner.

12. Understand insurance rules and regulations, especially those related to prior authorization.

13. Ability to function well while involved in multiple tasks and assignments.

14. Ability to concentrate on details while experiencing frequent interruptions.

15. Ability to take accurate detailed messages and send them to the appropriate person.

16. Assess emergency situations in patients through terminology during phone conversation.

17. Work collaboratively with triage nurse to schedule urgent visits.

18. Other related duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma/GED required. Six to twelve months related experience preferred. Customer Service experience in a dental or medical clinic preferred. Prior experience with using an Electronic Health Record preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate in Spanish and English (oral and written) required.

WORK SCHEDULE

Availability to work up to 40 hours during clinic operating hours, typically Monday – Thursday, 7am – 7pm, Friday, 7am – 5pm and rotating Saturdays 7am – 3pm.

Pay to commensurate with experience.

*Full-time CSRs hired between December 1, 2022 and January 31, 2023 will be eligible to receive a hiring bonus paid in 4 equal installments, every 6 months. Employee must be actively employed to receive payout and maintain perfect attendance within the first 90 days.
