Member Duties : Opportunity Coaches will: 1. Provide structured mentoring, guidance, advising on career pathways and planning. 2. Deliver and support critical thinking skills, utilize Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programming and coaching along with life skills. 3. Meet with designated students to provide assistance and guidance for skills development and career pathways at a minimum of 30 minutes two times a week and at least once per week during the summer. 4. Provide individual and group advising and guidance regarding career planning, academics, and skills development by employing creativity-based activities to stimulate and engage the participant on a personal level. 5. Recruit targeted middle and high school youth for mentoring program(s) from assigned campus sites, community centers and events within the service areas. 6. Conduct youth and parent/caregiver intake sessions to understand their unique challenges and opportunities.
