Applicant should be engaging, courteous, sociable, task oriented, and dependable. You must balance several responsibilities such as friendliness, cleanliness, proper food handling, and managing day to day activities of the business.
Responsibilites:
-Greet customers, answer questions, offer suggestions based on customer allergies or preferences.
-Maintain health department standards and protocol, keep a clean work space, and help maintain beverage and kitchen equipment.
-Take payments and keep a balanced drawer, make proper change, operate POS system, and have knowledge of menu options.
-Prepare foods, such as sandwiches, soups, or baked goods. Grind coffee, brew coffee or tea, steam milk and pull espresso, etc.
-Constantly improving knowledge of products, current trends, sales, available products, specials, etc.
-Help manager maintain store, upkeep inventory, clean and stock, achieve goals.
Open to training, exceptional listening and communication skills, ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, polite and engaging personality, availability to work Saturdays and some holidays (no Sundays or evenings!), working as part of a high-energy, efficient, fast-paced environment .
