SUMMARY

The Living Room Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving both hot and cold coffee and tea beverages to our guests. In addition to performing all relevant barista duties, the ideal candidate for this role will interact with guests face-to-face as well as adhere to our 5-star steps of service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and tea drinks that meet quality standards
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized back service area, in accordance with the Living Room SOPs
• Observe relevant health and safety standards
• Warmly greet and personally interact with visiting patrons face-to-face at the ordering counter whenever the server on duty is not available
• Conducting Point of Sale monetary transactions, collect and process payments from customers
• Shifts will include being a cashier and back server assistant whenever espresso drinks are not being made

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available to work 6am to 3pm
• Must be available on weekends
• Must be available to work most holidays

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Barista experience: 2 years (Preferred)
