Farmers Savings Bank, a community bank in southeast Iowa, is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a teller at our Wever, Iowa branch. Duties include:
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Knowledge of all products and services offered
- Provides a wide variety of customer service functions involving the payment and receipt of money, customer accounts, and other general banking services
- Verifying cash – counting back to the customer, verifying cash for other teller drawers as needed, when money ordered and received from other branches
- Log in and process transactions received by mail and the night drop
- Safety deposit boxes – assist customers in accessing their boxes
- Finding ways to make financial services more convenient for customers, like helping them sign up for online banking services and debit cards
- Using coin wrapping machine
- Answer telephone and assist customers with their transactions, questions and problems
- Balancing cash drawer daily
- Other jobs and duties as assigned – May include but not limited to: Open new accounts, cross-train for other positions, review maintenance, prepare statements for mailing, check orders
