Job Summary
Jason Pilger Chevrolet in Atmore, AL is hiring for an experienced ASE Certified Automotive Technician to join our growing team. As a part of our GM Service Team, you will enjoy a safe and clean work environment with paid training to assist you in doing your finest service work. Diagnostic skills, thorough understanding of the entire mechanical/operational systems and functions of all vehicles are required of our Service Technicians.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The accurate and thorough diagnostic inspection, maintenance and repair of gasoline, diesel, and flex fuel vehicles.
- Work on and repair computer systems of today’s modern vehicles, along with being able to use computer technology to diagnose a specific vehicle problem.
- Routine inspection and maintenance of operating systems and parts involving scheduled service and routine preventive care as recommended by manufacturer’s specifications.
- The correct use of tools and equipment to promote and maintain personal, public and workplace safety, cleanliness and hazards avoidance to themselves and all others
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have dealership / automotive experience
- Must have own tools
- Must be ASE Certified
