AUTOMOTIVE PARTS COUNTER
The Clay Cooley Auto Group is looking for Parts Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing team. This individual will build customer orders by selecting product from storage and assembling the order in a designated area.
Job Duties:
- Maintain receiving and shipping records utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates of all warehouse parts
- Count, weigh, or measure items on incoming and outgoing parts shipments, verify information against invoices, records
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Fill parts orders from multiple departments and verifies accuracy of the order against the invoice
- Recognize the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to meet productivity goals and ensures the stable flow of materials in the supply chain
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting. (Up to 5 hours) Must have capability to left up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required
