Crack Open the Possibilities- Automation/ Electrical Control Technician!

Primary Job Duties:

As an Automation/Electrical Control Technician, you will be responsible to work on designing, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all electronic components of production, processing and barn equipment. Under minimum supervision, the Technician must be able to troubleshoot various automated production equipment. Strong experience with programmable controllers, HMI's, control system design and hands-on troubleshooting is required.

This position requires knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, and electronic applications. Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• PLC Programming experience (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, EMERSON PAC Machine Edition, Siemens)
• HMI and SCADA design and development (Panel View, Siemens, GE Cimplicity, Ignition)
• Experience in reading and developing blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• 
  Troubleshoot and repair equipment, motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, electronic measuring sensors (RTDs, Humidity, level, and pressure), temperature instrumentation, packaging machines and conveyors, electronic scales, programmable logic controllers, etc.
• Review and modify existing equipment as required to meet safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Strong working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment and components.
• Program, troubleshoot and repair/replace sensors, scanners, vision systems, motors, variable frequency drives, and encoders.
• Control system upgrades of existing equipment and integration of new/existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control and safety circuits using electrical schematics and electronic test equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve processes, efficiency, quality and service.
