Intermediate/Advanced 1099 Contractor for Level II and III AutoCAD Drafter

Requirements:

• Advanced or Proficient use of AutoCAD with 3+ years of experience minimum
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering; including engineering of roadways with the use of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of FTTH and FTTP for new construction
• Knowledge of utilities and mapping with the use of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Right of Way; including base-mapping and drafting of roadways with the use of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of best implementations of Civil Engineering including coordination to work well with other(s) and the best practices from Civil Engineering, i.e. Plan and Profiles, Splicing Schematics (Fiber and Copper), Right-of-Way, etc. to problem solving with various company Managers, Directors and Business Analysts.
• Knowledge of Management of workflow from Project Managers, OSP Engineers, OSP/GIS Technicians, JPA and Permit Specialists and overall success of completion of work on tight timelines.
• History of completed projects within Civil Engineering, roadway utilities, or Telecommunications
• Knowledge of Data Entry within AutoCAD

Prefered Experience:

• 3-5+ years
• Use of OCALC Program for pole load analysis
• Knowledge of GIS and data points with ESRI but not required
• Knowledge of JointUse and data entry
• Knowledge of Traffic Control Plans
• Knowledge of SWWP Plans
• Knowledge of Archmaps
• National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Knowledge of Ilecs and Clecs or Cell providers
• Knowledge of 1-line diagrams
• Knowledge of Adobe PDF, Arch-Maps, AldenOne or Notify, Biarri Systems Design, AutoCAD, Google-Pro, Microsoft OSX, Microsoft Word, Near Maps PlexEarth, SmartSheets, GIS, O-Calc,

Addition:

• A bonus pay for project completions for clients
• 1099 contract solely; looking for someone with an amazing work ethic
• Contract is for two years with a possibility of up to three
• AutoCAD test will be give at time of the interview
• Lispertines or script writing for the use of AutoCAD may be negotiated based on knowledge of programming
• Bring project portfolio to interview

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
