Essential Responsibilities
- Prevent, treat and rehabilitate injuries
- Record and track injuries
- Keep open communication with coaches and parents regarding athletes injuries
- Responsible for providing athletic training services for all home athletic contests and away varsity football games.
- Follow protocol regarding athletes injuries and returning to play
- Will manage the training room
- Coordinate with Athletic Director for a supply list
- These duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic program. The athletic trainer's duties listed in the document should not be considered all inclusive. The athletic director, as necessary, shall modify duties.
Required Qualifications
- MA Licensure, NATA certified and in good standing with NATA
- First aid and CPR/AED
- Knowledge and continuing education on DPH concussion management
