Job Summary

The Associate Vice President will assist with specific strategic and day to day operational tasks within the Region and be responsible for the implementation of both long- and short-term initiatives. This role is used as a feeder to run a full company P&L. Must be willing to relocate for this role.

The ideal candidate will be a team motivator and effective project manager to align people with company values and oversee strategic initiatives in the business. The role will act as liaison between all functions (operations, commercial excellence, business performance, marketing, design, etc) with regards to project management, growth goals, and cultivating company culture.

• 
  Collaborate with the Regional President and Area General Managers in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and following our strategic capability roadmap

• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

• Monitor company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met

• Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

• Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

• Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business management, finance, or other technical field required

• 5+ years of experience in any combination of manufacturing, consulting or business development with a specific focus on building materials/industrial manufacturing

• The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills with particular strengths in the areas of financial modeling, manufacturing, sales & operations as well as manage complex projects from concept through completion

• MBA degree strongly preferred, equivalent work experience considered

Additional Requirements

• 
  Travel approximately 50-75%

• Must be open to relocate across N. America
