Summary
The Associate Manager, Product Product Development for the Private Label Product Development team will report to The Senior Manager of Product Development, Sourcing and Compliance. This position is a support role to the Product Development Managers for OTH and OTR. This includes a broad range of categories, including ladies riding apparel, footwear, saddle pads, horse blankets and tack equipment. This role will be responsible for many tasks associated with developing all private label product, with emphasis on tracking details and maintaining all data points driving the calendar process. This role will assist and support the development of consumer relevant products that deliver against strategic, financial and brand objectives. The Associate Product Manager PL PD will collaborate with the PL Buyers and the PD Team to support the private label products that are on strategy for catalog, retail, and web.
Essential Job Functions; Product Development Support:
  • Data entry and formatting line sheets
  • Manage Lab dip approvals through excel tracking sheet and emailing suppliers for follow up
  • Assist with initial Tech packs, create and prepare, with approval before sending to suppliers
  • Record and file approvals for fabric, hardware, trim, color, special washes, print, and embroidery
  • Sample management (tagging fit approvals, clearing previous versions, cleaning out past seasons)
  • Photoshoot sample tracking; create templates and distro to buyers, sending to suppliers, tracking, unpacking boxes, checking samples in
  • Assisting at fit sessions for both apparel and horse; organizing samples, helping with horse wrangling , note taking
  • Active Rider sample distribution and follow up on comments
  • Manage chart for QC pull for all new products and assist when another set of hands is needed in any quick inspections.
  • Coordinate sample pulls from warehouse for QC check
  • QuickBase customer complaints review and manage **currently developing a simplified process for TES PL product reports, and adding education to CCT team enabling PL team to review, react and resolve more effectively
  • Develop working knowledge of the PD function process and calendar. Monitor the calendar to ready to for upcoming workload
  • Manage DHL account and troubleshoot when suppliers have issues
  • Manage specific product categories for professional development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Horse experience a plus
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent Excel skills (adobe illustrator skills a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated problem solver and resourceful multi-tasker
  • Attention to detail
