It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, unless otherwise specified in the job posting. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
Summary of the Job:

Work collaboratively with mortgage ecosystem business partners and technology to engage in Black Knight,/MSP reporting, releases, changes to processes that will support the Mortgage team, with the purpose of identifying and eliminating risk as well as making processes more efficient. Partner with Sr. Mortgage Value Stream Coordinator to focus on highest priority issues and opportunities.

Please note: possessing Black Knight MSP servicing experience is required for consideration.
About This Role:

Data Analysis/Problem Solving
  • Lead MSP Year End preparation and reporting required for customers, governmental agencies etc.
    • Serve as the liaison for the Year End processing cycle, coordinated with BKFS Client Support
    • Ensure FNBO remains on schedule with the BKFS monthly Year End Checklist
    • Ensure Year End Header Options are based on FNBO’s expected results for Year End Reporting
    • Coordinate and document plan for Year Processing across all impacted functional areas
    • Prep Test Regions for testing all enhancements and new processes prior to Year End
    • Ensure regulatory requirements for year-end processing have been reviewed and approved by Legal and or your Compliance team
    • Attend all Year End FAC meetings for updates, enhancements and new regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for reading and interpreting all release notes for Black Knight MSP and engage all appropriate stakeholders to implement, communicate and train on the releases.
  • Analyze processes that could enhance and improve workflow and/or mitigate risk, bring recommendations forward based on analysis.
  • Clearly communicate findings to management and staff with suggested improvement options
  • Develop documentation detailing processes and procedures. Educate users.
  • Understand the servicing loan process work flow to analyze data and escalate issues to the appropriate parties and execute possible improvements to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with BAs and Mortgage Data team to develop and manage KPI standards.
  • Effectively coordinate and monitor periodic reporting related to Servicing Portfolio.
  • Communicate updated policies and procedures to the appropriate teams.
  • Attend Black Knight educational sessions, training and communicate and share/train with internal users.
  • Review and respond to Support Emails.
  • Serve as focal point for Black Knight MSP changes impacting the mortgage eco-system.
  • Accountable for MSP related activities (daily, monthly, yearly) and coordination with Mortgage Servicing, Investor Reporting, Cash, Tax, Business Analysts, Flood, Default, Mortgage Value Stream Coordinators, Vendors etc.
System Management
  • Black Knight’s MSP, and various the additional vendor platforms utilized in the Servicing and Reporting of Mortgage Loans.
  • Meet directly with System Support on in-flight system changes that would create better employee and customer experience as well as required regulation changes.
  • Coordination with third party system vendors
Testing and Training
  • Assist team in scheduling application testing. Represent the Servicing function as point person for all problems found during testing. Escalate issues accordingly.
  • Document department procedures and quality control preparation and review checklist.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years Mortgage Servicing experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze reports with a timely and accurate approach that provides positive results
  • Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of Black Knight’s MSP, and other Servicing applications such as IDisburse
  • Aptitude for problem solving
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with team members, management and business partners to complete assigned tasks
  • Effectively represent the department by making ethical decisions and demonstrating professional behavior and strong leadership skills when working with team members
  • Proven ability to multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion
