The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Associate Director, Supplier Performance

The Raytheon Technologies Corporate Supplier Performance & Risk team is looking for a highly motivated, goal oriented professional to lead the continuing development and execution of RTX’s Supplier Performance Program, Performance+. This Enterprise Program Management role will entail significant collaboration and consensus building across the four (4) Raytheon Technologies Business Units to execute and mature the Program’s structure, key components and processes as well as develop appropriate training and communications to implement across the Enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across the four (4) RTX Business Units
  • Lead the continuing development and strategic vision of Supplier Performance+, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills to result in a best-in-class Global Supplier Performance Management Program
  • Identify processes and tools that will provide value to the Businesses and drive Supplier Performance to the next level across RTX
  • Develop and execute effective plans to implement all aspects of the Program throughout the global network of RTX, including communication and training requirements
  • Lead and manage the overall governance and execution of the Program including:
  • Execution of all aspects of the Supplier Performance+ Program Framework
  • Execution and coordination of RTX’s supplier awards process
  • Execution of RTX’s Global Supplier Conference
  • Harmonization of Supplier Performance Tools and metrics
  • Drive collaboration opportunities with other functions including Supplier Quality and RTX’s Core Operating System to strengthen both the Supplier Performance+ Program and overall Supplier Performance
  • Lead and engage in various efforts related to suppliers and/or supplier management

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Minimum twelve years’ experience in procurement, supplier management, supply chain, supply chain continuous improvement or a combination
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work multiple efforts in parallel
  • Execution focused with demonstrated initiative
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate and influence both senior leadership and other professionals across multiple organizational levels and functions
  • Professional demeanor and proficient at working at both a strategic and detailed level
  • Mindset for automation and process efficiency
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, preferred concentrations in Supply Chain, Finance Business Management
  • Direct experience in managing Supplier Performance

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
