Associate Designer/Draftsman Job at Phillips Staffing
8am to 5 pm Monday - Friday Occasional overtime maybe required during peak load and will be paid at time and half hourly pay.
Job Description: Entry level Designer responsible for creating General Arrangement, Vendor, Shop Detail Drawings, and documenting designs required to bend, assemble, and manufacture components. Candidate will work closely with Project Design Engineers, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements while minimizing manufacturing cost.
Duties Include:
- Prepare product Design drawings in AutoCAD, and or Solidworks.
- Run full size templates from AutoCAD files for use on the shop floor to check bend configurations.
- Create Bill of Materials in Excel for ordering all job materials required.
- Occasional travel to job sites will be required to gather information from either
- OEM drawings, or boiler inspection of the existing components / pressure parts inside the boiler.
Job Skills & Requirements: Must be proficient in AutoCAD R2015 or later, Basic Excel to create BOM’s. Solidworks is a plus but not required.
Starting Salary:
- Full time employee - $22 / hour
- Higher Salary available for experienced boiler designers. (3-5+ years) Full time employee hours:
