We are currently looking to hire a full time Assistant Supervisor for Community Based Services.

Summary:

This position supports the operations and administrative function of community-based program in Ulster County. These programs include the two (2) warming centers located in Kingston and Ellenville during the months of November through April. The position will also be responsible for operating a cooling center during the summer months. This candidate will also be expected to work in the Kingston Center supporting the food pantry program. This includes the active participation in the mobile food distribution program. The position will have direct supervision 2 warming center coordinators and any staff working in the warming center program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Provide direct supervision over all warming center staff (i.e. Warming Center Coordinator and Resident Assistants)
2. Train Warming Center staff or coordinate training for the program.
3. Maintains current and accurate documentation of services, expenditures, and data tracking systems.
4. Participate in meetings in place of the Ulster County Regional Supervisor.
5. Work with Warming Center Coordinator to prepare the locations for potential activation.
6. Respond and direct staff during crisis and support staff in preparing reports.
7. Coordinate all critical incident review meeting.
8. Serve as the primary administrative manager in the absence of the Ulster County Regional Supervisor.
9. Attend community, agency, and Ulster County Stakeholder meeting as directed by the Regional Supervisor.
10. Available for planned activities on the weekend and some after-hours.
11. Monitor all billing activities and submit accurate account of expenditures to the Ulster County Regional Supervisor.
12. Enforce all Warming Center / Cooling Center policies and procedures.
13. Conduct regular walkthroughs and site visits during all shifts.
14. Provide a timely response to all vendors.
15. Assists with coverage in the Warming Center as well as provide case management services from the Warming Center as the need dictates.
16. Maintain a high level of professional boundaries with staff, clients, and community stakeholders
17. Participates in regular supervisory sessions with immediate supervisor.
18. Write and participate in the development of program plans or proposals.
19. Travel to meet clients at other CCOSU offices.
