Description:

Trinity Services, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Coordinator who is able to work well as a team, multi-task, build relationships with the people we serve, their families and staff members. The Assistant Coordinator will also help grow our curriculum resources and assist with administrative responsibilities.

As an Assistant Coordinator, you would be helping people who are diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities flourish and build their skill levels so that they can live full and abundant lives. This ideal candidate will be flexible, patient, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks including keeping the building clean. This role has purview over helping support people, managing physical plant and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Program Coordinator position is responsible for working with the Coordinator of the program to assist with:

  • Curriculum, planning/participating in experiences with the people served in the community
  • Group activities in the program
  • Coordinating the program when the coordinator is unavailable
  • ADL skills
  • Coaching and mentoring staff and people served to maximize all abilities and outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a social service or human service field
  • Excellent organizational skills plus the ability to effectively establish priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Some managerial experience
