ASSISTANT OFFICE MANAGER

Pay Range: $19.85 and up DOE

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Assistant Office Manager to join our talented administrative team in our Community Support Program working with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.

The Assistant Office Manager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the program and support staff team including the provision of administrative, clerical, and accounts receivable support necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the program.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Office Manager with management of department operations, including building and maintenance management, training and orienting new staff, and providing ongoing support to program staff
  • Provide support for daily functions to support staff as needed by managing staff workload assignments and coverage needs
  • Provide training to support staff on all job-related functions; maintain a mentorship to ensure ongoing training.
  • Assist with managing team performance by providing supervision and feedback
  • Serve as Office Manager when he/she is out of the office or unavailable
  • Assist in completion of tasks related to admissions processes, front- end processes, medical records, and insurance processes
  • Conducting orientation appointments with new, incoming clients
  • Providing information and assisting new, incoming clients with completing pre-admissions questionnaires
  • Referral and waitlist management
  • Generate, distribute, and analyze reports in order to support the management of staff and program performance.

Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years’ experience in behavioral health office work preferred. Three years’ experience in diversified office work required.
  • Experience with health insurance benefits and procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and use of an electronic medical record is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail are required.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle or access to a reasonable alternative is preferred.
