Assistant in Nursing Job at Stamford Health
Stamford Health is looking for an experienced Nurse to join their Infusion Center Team! The ANM will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Infusion Center Unit in collaboration with Nurse Manager, Medical Director, and Clinical Operations director. This includes assuring all orders are safe and regulatory compliant and that patients are scheduled appropriately according to agreed upon timelines. Acting as a Liaison with referring offices, social work, and referring physicians to ensure safe and efficient processes. Responsible for unit oversight of patient care and unit initiatives. This includes staff scheduling, patient scheduling, billing and charging, quality initiatives, projects and meetings. Accountable for participating in departmental planning along side Nurse Manager (NM) to develop, establish, and achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Shift: The is a full-time opportunity, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
2) Valid license as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut
3) BSN required (Or enrolled in program within 6 months of hire)
4) Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually
5) BCLS required, ACLS preferred- must be obtained and maintained after agreed upon time period
6) High level of competency with computers and software
7) Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills required
8) INS certification preferred (required to be obtained after 1 year of hire)
9) Participation in organizational shared governance structure, quality improvement measures, and patient experience interventions aligning with nursing strategic initiatives
