POSITION DETAILS:

Buckley is a nationally recognized college-preparatory school with clear values, a fresh vision, and a desire to examine its past as it evolves to shape the future. The position begins July 5, 2023.

Reporting to Buckley’s Head of School Alona Scott, the Assistant Head of School will serve as a critical partner to, and be an extension of, the Head of School’s Office. The position will also be a part of a dynamic senior leadership team, consisting of the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Advancement, Director of Enrollment Management, Director of DEI, Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications, the Director of Innovative Teaching & Learning, the Heads of LS, MS, and US and the Assistant Head and Dean of US. While the position will touch all aspects of the school, including leading the Student Support Team and the Directors of auxiliary programs, there will be a particular focus on furthering several strategic priorities, including student health and wellness, cross-divisional programs, experiential learning opportunities, and the school’s recently established Portrait of a Graduate profile and strategic plan.
