Belmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities position.

The successful candidate for this position will assist the Director of Athletic Facilities in running and maintaining the athletic facilities at Belmont Abbey College. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to scheduling, facility maintenance, ordering equipment for programs, coordinating off-campus facility rentals, assisting with special events, oversee to be determined facilities, assisting as needed with game management, etc.

Preference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a strategic vision for the day-to-day operations of a growing athletics department. This vision must complement the institution’s mission and character as a distinctively Catholic and Benedictine college that views sport as a means of developing virtue. The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, and have a proven record of compatibility with a diverse range of constituents and stakeholders, both internally and externally. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. The minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Sports Administration or a related field.
