JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for protecting the brand assets (people, product and property) by minimising risk and maximising profit in a safe, secure and protective environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works closely with the Area Manager Asset & Profit Protection to lead, plan, and drive the standard of Asset and Profit Protection, Safety and Security within the Supply Chain providing proactive support in line with the service ethos and growth strategies of the business.

Supports Supply Chain business operations and liaises closely with senior leadership to ensure effective partnership and effective outcome of business goals.

Collates and analyses business information to seek out instances of theft, fraud and breach of Company procedure as well as managing resultant and other investigations.

Continually assess the risk of loss throughout the daily operation and where adhoc projects require within the Supply Chain, evaluating existing controls and making recommendations for improvement.

Effectively manages, trains and motivates the Asset & Profit Protection team within the Supply Chain.

Understands the business to ensure that the service provision reflects the business needs and continually strives to enhance services through effective budget and resource management.

Manages suppliers ensuring service levels are met and are in line with changing business requirements.

Has comprehensive understanding of all Asset & Profit Protection equipment including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms ensuring the equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.

Sound understanding of the Health and Safety policy, site evacuation and disaster management process (including incident management, reporting and escalation for serious incidents) and an ability to support line management as and when required.
