Job Location: Santa Ana, CA
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years’ + experience in engine build environment is a MUST
- Hands on engine, head, and sub-assembly build experience
- Understanding of an ICE compression ratio calculation.
- Strong detail-oriented build process and documentation
- Experience in Serdi/ Newen operation type cylinder head machines used for cutting valve seats.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to proficiently use all build related tools.
- Experience in Racing Engines is desired
- Basic written communication skills and ability to read and write basic English.
- Proficient in MS Office products – Excel and Word
Responsibilities:
- Preparation (build) of production cylinder heads, fitted to race engines
- Review of related engine specifications, accurate measurement of parts
- Assembly of engine cylinder heads to a specification defined
- Operation of Newen and Sunnen style cylinder head machines.
- Detailed and accurate documentation of build information, serial numbers and measurement values.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
