Job Title: Assembler
Job Location: Arlington, TX
Job Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Job Pay: $18-$22
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Must be detail oriented to ensure assemblies are completed to quality requirements
- Read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings (GD&T), procedures and instructions
- Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
- Works closely with supervision and other team members to ensure that production requirements are met and appropriate tooling and hardware is available
- Maintain appropriate knowledge and ability levels to efficiently perform all assigned work and utilize this knowledge base to become proficient on new/unfamiliar assignments
- Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity
- Maintain a clean workstation and ensure equipment in good condition
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Proven experience as assembler in Aerospace, or other comparable industries
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, GD&T drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (clamps, hand/power tools) and machines (presses)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely, and able to stand or sit for long periods
