About the Role

Rapid Response Monitoring is looking for an Armed Corporate Security Officer (Full-Time) to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Compensation ranging from $23.00- $25.00 hourly based upon experience.

Shift Hours

Tuesday-Saturday: 2300-07:30 (11PM-07:30AM) with Sunday and Monday days off

About the Position

• Ensure the facility is provided with high quality services to protect people and property
• Maintain a security presence by patrolling both inside and outside of the facility
• Monitoring security cameras
• Detect and report safety concerns and potential risks
• Escorting certain personnel to and from events

Basic Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent
• Prior experience as an armed security officer working in a team environment
• Ability to proactively identify problems, creatively develop and execute solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to relate to and interact with other people in a friendly, professional manner
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Required NYS Training and Qualifications

• 8 Hour Pre-assignment Training
• Relevant weapons training (47-hour Firearms Pre-assignment)
• 16 Hours on The Job Training
• 8 Hour Annual in Service Training
• 8 Hour Annual Firearms Training
• Must possess a current NYS Armed Guard License
• Valid New York State Pistol permit

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree

COVID-19 Requirements

• Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
