Starting $18 / Hr 40 hours a week. 10 units in the building. Looking for (1) General labor, Clean up, painting, repairs, light Snow removal etc.

Pay will be based upon skill level and is overly competitive.

Commercial/Apartment Maintenance position: Looking to hire a skilled maintenance employee to perform general labor and building maintenance tasks such as general repairs and cleaning; specifically but not exclusively: general and minor plumbing work, electrical work, landscaping, carpentry, and painting. This will also include snow removal and salting at several locations. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure the facilities are neat, clean and functional.

This employee must be reliable, hardworking, with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will not only have experience and solid technical knowledge, but also must be a “team player” with a good work ethic. The position requires manual dexterity and physical stamina as well as an ability to take the initiative, lead, and most importantly follow instructions.

Description of specific skills:

• General cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, and etc..
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, fixed damaged walls etc.
• Check control panels and electrical circuits to identify issues;
• Install and take away appliances, and other equipment;
• Maintain landscaping by mowing lawn, weeding, mulching, collecting trash, snow removal and salting etc.;
• Indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, switches and fixtures;
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. HVAC equipment and appliances);
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms, smoke detectors);
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations and construction;
• Report to a supervisor for daily instructions;
• Apartment turns

Must Have:

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems;
• Experience using hand and electrical tools;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Clean background. A criminal background and drug check will be conducted. Random drug testing will be conducted.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license a must.
• Experience installing/finishing drywall and tile work (preferred but not required)
