Part-Time CSN Blackstone Launchpad Ambassador

Job Description
  • Support the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development (SBED) Interim Director and the Blackstone Academic Champion with related Blackstone projects and initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight of the podcast room/equipment for students who are looking for opportunities to develop podcasts that focus on business and entrepreneurship.
  • Assist in developing on, and off-campus outreach; networks with community-based partners; and help organize recruitment and engagement activities to attract, engage students to participate in the Blackstone Launchpad program.
  • Act as a liaison and provide support to SBED business clients and contractors that will facilitate monthly workshops within the CSN Blackstone Entrepreneurship Center.
  • Participate in monthly SBED core team meetings, quarterly Blackstone Stewardship Council meetings, and training sessions as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support with the management of the Start-Up tree platform and events.
  • This is a part-time position working up to 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of the business development life cycle process with the ability to connect and engage with the students.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Customer service experience of one to two years.
  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.
  • Possess excellent written, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

Salary

Competitive based on experience and contingent upon grant funding.
