If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a highly qualified Dispatch Manager to lead our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our company's flights.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Maintain coordination and communication with dispatchers and flight control followers.
• Ensures the timely dissemination of changes in operational procedures and policies to active flight crews and on duty flight followers.
• Responsible to the DO for all search and rescue notifications.
• Record Crewmembers flight time in compliance with the company’s crew scheduling procedures to ensure that each flight has a legal crew available to complete all flight operations for all flight segments.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Maintenance to ensure the aircraft status will permit the intended operation to be conducted safely and in accordance with applicable Minimum Equipment List/Configuration Deviation List items (MEL/CDL) limitations/restrictions at the scheduled departure time.
• Advise the appropriate personnel of potential or actual delays and/or problems.
• Provide operational data and reports to personnel as necessary.
• Review and audit trips and operational procedures daily for accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
• Update permits and aircraft certification as needed.
• Write and perform monthly one-on-ones with dispatchers, as well as conduct annual reviews.
• Coordinate and ensure that all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and international handling, customs, landing/over-flight permits are in order before releasing a flight.
• Ensure all flights are released In compliance with the FAA rules and regulations and FAR’s.
• Collect, discuss and review weather and aeronautical information to help assist in aircraft/pilot dispatch.
• Ensure the highest priority of each dispatcher is the safety of the flight, which includes following all FAA/FAR rules and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a monthly dispatch schedule, ensuring that a dispatcher is on duty during all active flight operation activities.
• Maintain a means of communication to monitor the progress of each flight with respect to its departure at the point of origin and arrival at its destination, including intermediate stops and diversions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• FAA Dispatch License
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
• Experience with managing a remote team of 10 or more
• Relocation is preferred, remote options can be considered for right candidate
• Willingness to relocate to one of our bases in El Paso, TX/ Toledo, OH, or Oakdale, CA; or alternatively, ability to work remotely with a 30-60 day onboarding period DOE at our headquarters in CA and additional onsite orientation during the year
• College degree preferred
• Proficient computer skills
• Detail oriented

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be willing to have a flexible schedule to include working nights and weekends
