About you: You take pride in cleans, you try your best, and you take ownership in doing things right. You show up, you are reliable and communicate in advance time off needs. You have at least 1 year experience cleaning airbnbs and you're looking to join a team that will respect you and the work you put into it. Schedules are determined weekly but last-minute cleans come up.

OVERVIEW

The Cleaner & Grounds Keeper role is one of the most important roles in our company. You are on the front lines and the first eyes on the property. Beyond properly resitablising a 5-star guest experience, you are also reponsible for reporting things that are wrong or broken at our stays. You will be interacting with our communications team, using apps like hostfully, breezeway and slack.

Here is a list of duties:

• Fully clean the property and bring it back to a 5-star standard. This includes but is not limited to laundry, vacuuming, mopping, make beds, dishes, surfaces, changing sheets, preparing fresh towels, sweeping, picking up dog waste and whatever it takes.
• Restock guest goods.
• Attack stains, dirt and spots like they've personally offended you.
• Perform light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, batteries, tightening handles.
• You will also do light landscaping, outdoor cleaning and hot tub checks.
• Determine inventory needs and report necessary refils.
• Report repair or replacement needs to the property manager.
• Maintain high customer service standards and responds clearly and in a timely manner to both internal team and contract vendors
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Must be able to download mobile apps and use via IOS or Android
• You must have means of transportation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The individual frequently is required to drive to visit properties often with multiple flights of stairs. Inspecting the homes may require light lifting, moving items within the home, and cleaning under certain time restraints. Housekeeping prep will require lifting, minimal hauling, and bending.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is primarily performed in rental homes. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to frequently inspect inside and outside areas of the property location and may be exposed to various weather conditions.
