Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart Connect (the advertising network arm for Walmart) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, ad tech partners, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart's in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.

What you'll do:
  • Partners with senior leadership to develop and drive the online media strategy by managing the development of business proposals, strategic action plans, and product roadmaps; providing insight on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape; and influencing the negotiation and structure of vendor partnerships and contracts.
  • Influences and drives the overall Sales strategy to ensure continuous growth of Online Media revenue by directing Sales and Development Teams in the management of key accounts; ensuring adherence to current online advertising rules and guidelines; building, maintaining, and managing strategic partnerships with top suppliers and agencies; ensuring partners deliver on agreed contractual terms; and overseeing the exception approval process.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction toothers in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in digital media or related field
  • Managing Digital Media Vendors, including contract negotiation, Online Display Advertising, supervisory experience
  • Masters: Business Administration is a plus
