Science Explorers is seeking energetic, positive people to be part-time STEM instructors for our after-school science clubs. This is a wonderful opportunity for any person who enjoys working with children and gaining classroom experience for any aspiring teachers! Our club program is developed for elementary-aged children with a focus towards hands-on STEM learning and fun.

You don’t have to be an expert in the field of science to teach our clubs! The curriculum, supplies and training are provided. Previous experience teaching or working with children preferred.

We have club running at St. Dorothy School on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00PM. You will need to arrive early for setting up and there is also some cleanup time after the club is over. All new Instructors will be required to complete online training before their start date.

• Pay is $45-50 per club session (this includes prep time and clean up time) depending on the number of children in each club topic
• This is a part-time/contract position. Most instructors work one or two days a week**
• You MUST be available during afternoon hours
• Some teaching/instructing/tutoring experience is preferred, but we invite all education staff, parents, and education students to join us!
• Our program typically runs from late September until early June**
• Up-to-date clearances are required**
