After School Reading Tutor, Central and North Denver Area Job at The Joy of Learning
The Joy of Learning is hiring experienced After School Reading Tutors to teach in person in the Central and North Denver, Co area. There is a separate listing for the Central and South Denver area. Pay is $45-60 per session depending on training and experience. Tutors will work with students in their homes or nearby libraries.
Required Qualifications:
- Training and experience teaching structured literacy and/or Orton Gillingham.
- Great at building connections and positive rapport with kids and families.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to make a firm commitment to at least 4-6 hours per week, up to 10-15 hours per week, for a year or more. Note - if you are not able to make a firm commitment, please do not apply.
- Reliable transportation and availability to meet with students in person during after school hours in Central and North Denver Areas.
