The Advanced Technician Production Operations associate for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for ensuring the daily production schedule is executed per production plan.

This position is part of the Production Operations department and located in Miami, FL working on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Production Operations team and report to the Manager of Instrument Manufacturing responsible for setting up and to operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure daily production schedule is executed per production plan; notify supervisor of changes to schedule and complete/reconcile batch records/WAs and send to Warehouse Operations daily.

  • Monitor equipment calibration, send to Calibration Lab before due date & ensure PMs are completed on schedule.

  • Verify all components, operating supplies, batch records/work authorizations (WA’s), equipment etc. are available prior to next day’s production.

  • Associate will also be performing “Authorization to Commence/Line Clearance” as needed in the different areas. As well as

  • Champion process improvement for area including daily management, layered audits & identifying flow interrupters.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School diploma or GED & 7 years of experience

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Working in a clean Room / Gowning up

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Team Lead experience

  • Working in a regulated FDA environment
