Job Description
Love to innovate while helping customers meet their online business goals? The Personalization Engineering Consultant position is a client-facing role requiring technical knowledge and skills! Personalization engineers build and develop Target solution to meet customer's business objectives and personalization and testing needs. In addition, consultants help each customer implement the solution throughout their websites and applications, perform quality checks to ensure that the implementation work has been completed successfully, and diagnose and resolve technical issues when they arise. This role is part engineer and part consultant, it is a very technical job with constant customer interaction and opportunities to innovate! What you'll Do
Understand client's technology stack (Adobe and non-Adobe), architecture diagrams, technical documentation.
Act as bridge for multiple teams: engineering, business, consulting, product.
Build and maintain abstract architecture designs/design Patterns for different tech stacks used by existing and prospective customers. Enablement and support of team members in crafting and using documentation.
Develop and maintain re-usable code artifacts that can support the implementation/realization of the Architecture design.
Enablement of customer's engineering team to help them scale/maintain the implementation that Adobe has helped them put in place.
Self-enablement on all the latest internet technologies broadly and acquire deeper expertise on the technology that is unique in the team.
Become SMEs on debugging critical issues to resolve whether it is an implementation issue or a product issue and triage.
Responsible for reviewing technical solutions developed by consultants before being delivered to customer to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns if used.
Develop Automated solutions to check the quality of all technical deliverables from consulting to customers.
Create thought leadership, Write Blogs, Create Training videos to enable Adobe and customers.
Support customer discovery sessions and help guide client's business requirements and key performance indicators.
Engage directly with customers via phone, email, and/or in-person through the project lifecycle. Including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, partners and executives
Lead multiple client engagements at a time, and establish expectations appropriately to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Lead or be part of a review board who reviews and sign-offs implementations before it launches. What you need to succeed
Demonstrated ability working in web development or a related field.
Intermediate-to-advanced JavaScript skills
Experience with Single Page Application (SPA)
Adobe Target experience

Experience with or ability to quickly learn:
Adobe Launch Expertise.
ReactJS Expertise.
AngularJS Knowledge.
NodeJS SDK Expertise
Be results-oriented, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success
Possess a creative and problem-solving mentality
Good interpersonal, presentation, and soft skills – both verbal and written
Ability to learn quickly, be an excellent teammate, and handle change efficiently
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Up to 20% travel required
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,000 -- $184,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
