Admissions / Medical Intake Job at Good Samaritan Hospice

Good Samaritan Hospice is seeking a PART-TIME, WEEKEND Admissions / Intake Specialist. This individual will answer incoming referral calls and assist in arranging the services necessary for initiating hospice care. This is a remote opportunity!!
Part time, Remote position working Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
As our Admissions / Intake Specialist you will:
- Monitor hospital and email systems for new referrals
- Initiate electronic (EMR) for new intakes and referral
- Complete insurance reviews and certifications for new referrals
- Coordinate scheduling of visits for hospice admission
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Weekends only
