Summary:
Assists the RDBD manage the BD Team/Admission Directors in the assigned region. Oversee inquiry and admission process, provides education and feedback with facility-related information for facility tours, conversations, follow-up and overall strategic business development. Provides coaching, onboarding, assist with training, audits and other duties as assigned. Support a positive census culture by exceeding census budgets through quality admissions. Assists the BD/Admission team in coordinating effective sales and marketing programs with the Corporate Sales and Marketing team. Ability to motivate and assist growing BD team talent, identify growth opportunities in the market and within the team, with support of RDBD

Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate in Business/Communications field preferred.
Experience:
  • Two years of experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Essential Functions:
  • Supervise timely responses to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources
  • Maintain a system that supports BD Team internal and external relationships to facilitate success
  • Maintains current database of existing and potential referral sources. Utilizes facility sales practices and sales tracking tools. Track trends, date, and assist to identify growth opportunities
  • Alerts appropriate department heads and building staff of projected changes; i.e. policy/procedure, opportunities, barriers and solutions
  • facilitate a close working relationship between the Admission/BD Team, LNHA, Director of Nursing (DNS) and the Business Office Manager (BOM) to assure appropriate and efficient decisions about prospective admissions
  • Attend QAPI meetings, Marketing Meetings, collaborate with RDBD daily
  • Monitors completion of each centers SMP’s, Monthly rollup, Sales call tracking and other reports on time
  • Regular education and audits: to ensure overall business success; appropriate admission paperwork and signatures are obtained from residents or responsible parties prior to admission. Ensure communication of special needs of new admits to staff to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Ensure referral sources and admissions data are entered into the automated referral systems
  • Assists with managed care referral process
  • Assist the Admission Director in maintaining a database of medical contacts/community resources/Leads
  • Keep all patient information confidential
  • Assist the Admission Director with special events and presentations targeted at community education, strategic BD planning
  • Oversee daily follow up on all active and pending inquiries to ensure steps to conversion met
  • performs other duties as assigned that will assist in leading the team to success
