POSITION DESCRIPTION – FULL TIME:
The Security Guard is responsible to secure all gates, checking all incoming and outgoing vehicles for proper authority to enter or exit. Ensure all personnel entering the facility have proper authority and to secure and monitor entire auction/reconditioning facility during and after business hours.
Security runs 6 Am to 10 Pm Sunday to Monday so we have various shifts available. Set days off each week. Overtime available to cover other shifts.
Note - Security Certificate is not required

REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver’s license and must be insured and/or insurable if required by the state
High attention to detail and accuracy required
Team player
Effective communication skills to collaborate closely with vendors and customers
Bi-Lingual is a plus but not required
Excellent reading and legible writing skills
Able to efficiently respond to various requests at one time
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work in all weather conditions
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent Organizational skills
Able to work on your feet for most of the shift
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
The physical activity requirements of the position are Light to Medium Physical Work.
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.
Constant – sitting, listening, talking, watching, fingering, touching, feeling, and grasping, standing
Frequent – walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Occasional – lifting, balancing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing
Potential – running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
